3D captures multiple slices of breast images, all at different angles. The images are brought together to create crystal-clear 3D reconstruction of the breast.
This ultrasound is specifically designed for woman with dense breast tissue. Women with dense breast tissue have a 4- 6 times greater risk of developing breast cancer when compared to woman with non-dense tissue.
Ultrasounds are sometimes used to evaluate breast problems that are found during a screening or diagnostic mammogram. This exam uses high-frequency sound waves to produce pictures inside the body.
A General Diagnostic Ultrasound provides real-time images of the major organs of the body. This type of Ultrasound may be used to diagnose abdominal aortic aneurysms, renal masses, gallstones, pancreatic masses, liver disease, splenic infections or common bile duct obstructions.
